I am asking co-ordination are likely to be effected. them to let me have details as soon as practicable for communication to you. 1eanwhile they would like you to know that instructions have been issued for the Flag Officer Commanding the Naval Force to establish a military administration in Hong Kong, Kowloon and the New Territories. To assist him initially in this task orders have been given for a R.A.F. airfield Constructional force, now in convoy in the Pacific Theatre, to be diverted to Hong Kong to assist in guard, patrol and other duties pending the arrival of a Commando Brigade from S.E.A.C.
